In the neighbourhood:

10 km and 18 holes on 25 km distance, disco, canoe on the river
Loire, Paintball, "Montitrain" (small train for young
children), " Fantasy Forest" , acrobats, winecaves and
of course winetasting, museum, abbeys, old handy crafts, mushroom
growing, many castles, show with light and sound, le Château
de Chaumont sur Loire and the "Festival International"
exposition of beautiful gardens, zoo in Beauval, etc....
The campsite:
La Grande Tortue lies on short distance from the river "Loire".
The best way to see the "last wild river in Europe" and
its surroundings is by canoe or by "fûtreau", a
typical old-fashioned boat from the region. This is possible through
the week but the campsite also organizes its own canoe trips, every
Monday, including transport. On a stroll from the campsite you'll
find the river Beuvron. This branch of the river Loire leads off
to Candé sur Beuvron. Easily accessible quiet river, a river
filled with fish, where you can go out for fishing. A special permit
for fishing can be obtained locally.

is covered) and paddlingpool with waterslide.
