Surrounding of campsite:
The historical centre of Narbonne with its via Domitia and its Cathedral
at 5 km. The beaches of Gruissan and Narbonne Plage at 10 km. The
"Pays Cathare" with its enormous variety of countryside
and history is within the reach of Camping la Nautique Port la Nautique,
home to several old Catalan boats, with its very nice view over
the "Etang" where you will find a big variety of birds
and pink flamingos.
About the campsite:
Situated next to "Etang de Bages et de Sigean" (a
large lagoon just south of Narbonne - ideal for windsurfing) and
approximately 10 minutes away from the very large sandy beaches
of Gruissan and Narbonne-Plage. Except for "sun and water"
pleasures on and near the site, the "Cathare"- historical
sites in the area (only 5 km to the historical centre of Narbonne)
and the exceptionally beautiful countryside of the "Aude"
are definitely worth a visit..
The camping has a main street that
runs from the entrance to the end of the campsite. It has by-streets
on which the plots are situated. The streets and plots are separated
by evergreens and oleander. The campsite has plenty of sports facilities,
both on the campsite, in the surrounding area. The restaurant, the
swimming pool, the large playground and the sports area are situated
at the end of the terrain beside the etang. A small shop for daily
errands and fresh bread is available seven days a week. All plots
have their own private sanitary facilities

at the entrance of the campsite, next to it you'll find a small campingshope
for bread, milk, butter and newspapers.

Splendid restaurant for exclusive
dinners and for small children they serve chips, apple sauce and croquettes.
During school holidays in spring and autumn different activities for
young and old are organized nearby the restaurant. |

The roads on La Nautique
are well maintained and along the roads you will see many beautiful
flowers and trees. |
|
There is no reason to
get bored during the evenings. Almost every night there is some form
of entertainment in or near our restaurant. During the main season
we have regular music and theme nights. Didn't you do well on Idols,
then our karaoke nights might be your second chance. Our pool disco's
are also very popular. |
