The surroundigs
De campsite is just situated outside the fishermans village "Vias"
with its natural stone facades. Vias lies only 10 km away from the
big city Béziers. The crowdy boulevard of Cap d'Agde or the
picturesque village Agde are close at hand. Pay a visit to the France
oldest town "St. Guilhem-le-Désert", you must not
forget to see this calm friendly town. And if you already are there
then visit the caves of Clamouse and the beautiful bridge "Pont
du Diable" they lie very close to "St. Guilhem-le-Désert".
Every Wednesday and Saturday a cosi market will be held in Vias.
Other daytrips are : "Cirque de Navacelles" (circle in
stone) a circle worn out in stone through million years by the river
"Vis". Below this 325 meter deep valley you'll discover
the fairy-tale like village , Navacelles, with old houses from the
10th century.
About 700 meter from the campsite there is a manege, fun-fair
and huge minigolfcourse.
The campsite
Les Salisses is a child friendly four stars familypark, on a
stroll from the Mediterranean Sea. The terrain is flat but it provides
enough shade by beautiful plants and (palm)trees. Two beautiful
swimmingpools with huge waterslide makes this campsite a high quality-campsite.
From the campsite you can easily walk to the Mediterranean Sea with
sandbeach and notice during your walk all the nice small shops,
restaurants and terraces in the street to the beach.
Campsite's facilities and sports:
2 swimmingpools, 2 children pools, big waterslide and for the low
season you can use the covered swimmingpool. Restaurant, bar, fastfood,
pizzeria, playgardens, disco-evenings, every night entertainment
and music. Campingshop with butcher, baker for fresh croissants,
and green-grocer.
Boutique, newspapers and magazines, Reception, telephon/fax. Washingmachines,
ironingboard, dryingmachines, Animation area with televison, videogames
en snooker. Tenniscourt, halfcourt, pétanquecourt, volleybal,
(table)tennis, archery, aquagym, basketball, windsurfing, parasailing,
horseriding, (sea)fishing, sailing, diving (in Cap d'Agde), waterbicycles,
etc. On a stroll you'll find a big fun-fair, disco, minigolf course
and ridingschool.
